How to Root your Android Device Root Transmission Method
The Root Transmission method of rooting an android device allows you to root an android device using another android device by the use of the Root Transmission app. It is however important to remember that running the wrong script can break both devices. So you have to be very careful when downloading the scripts. Ensure that you only get them from trusted sources and/or know how to create your own scripts before using Root Transmission.
Below is the procedure on how to root your android device using the Root Transmission method:
1. Confirm that the host device you will be using to root another is already rooted.
2. Ensure that the host device and the one to be rooted both have the USB OTG (USB On-The-Go) feature.
3. Have a USB OTG cable with you to connect the two devices together.
4. Have the ADB Root script ready for the device you want to root.
5. Download the Root Transmission APK from the link given and save the file to your PC’s desktop.
6. Using the device’s USB cable, connect the device to the PC then copy the APK file and the One-Click Root script to the root of your SD card.
7. Once the files have copied disconnect the device from the PC.
8. Go to ‘Menu>Settings>Security>Unknown Sources’ and enable the ‘unknown Sources’ option.
9. On the device, open the File Manager and install the APK file by tapping on it then move the one-click root script to the /sdcard/RootTransmission/ folder.
10. Now launch the Root Transmission app from the App Drawer of the device.
11. Next, connect the host device to the guest device, that is, the one you want to root using the USB OTG cable then tap on the ‘Root’ button from the app.
12. The process will unfold as you watch and you will be notified when it is complete.
That concludes the procedure and your android device is then rooted using the Root Transmission Method.
